Volunteering Opportunities

We’re always looking for friendly, smiling faces to help out in a variety of ways:

stocking the pantry shelves on Tuesday mornings
preparing for Thursday evening's food distribution on Thursday mornings
helping families through our Food Pantry Thursday evenings
harvesting food from local grocery stores throughout the week

If you are an adult interested in volunteering, please send an email to volunteer@svdplz.org with your contact information and, from the list above, the roles you are interested in fulfilling.

If you are a Teen looking for service hours, first select the Month or Special Work Date for which you wish to volunteer your time from the list below.

Then from the Date / Role list, select the date and role for which you are able to volunteer.

Regular Thursday Night service opportunities are posted every two months; next posting (for January '26) will be mid-December. Additional service days are added as needed, so check-in frequently.
